EMBRAPA coordinates the Brazilian Agricultural Research System that includes most public and private national entities involved in agricultural research. Through its 38 Research Centers (RC), 3 Service Centers and 13 Central Divisions, EMBRAPA is present in almost all the Brazilian States, and its projects cover about all socio-economic and ecological conditions in the country. It has internationally recognized experience in many disciplines and interdisciplinary research related to livestock production and agriculture. EMBRAPA has several large on-going projects and research networks related to animal and plant production modelling climate change, systems analysis and environmental impacts on livestock production, including a climate change platform.
